Map the Gaps Cofounder & Director
Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Hi! I'm one of the cofounders and leaders of Map the Gaps. I'll be very happy to hear about collaborations and initiatives that may involve a need to map of the seafloor! (well if you ask me, everything that is ocean/science oriented requires mapping the seafloor...)
My "day job" is mapping the ocean floor in various capacities, I'm part of an underwater tech & exploration company called Submerge (www.sub-merge.com) and also do freelance work for other ocean exploration orgs, either in the private sector (superyachts/subs) or in the philanthropy/science sectors (OceanX, Caladan, etc.). In the past I worked for Seabed 2030 and for the Multibeam Advisory Committee at CCOM, and before that I was on the XPRIZE team that won the Ocean Discovery Challenge. Previously I was the hydrographer of the National Oceanographic Institute of Israel.
Other than that I'm really into photography and climbing, and everything outdoors.
